CNM-SFI Food Truck Visits Ted Chavez Hall Wednesday
March 11, 2014 -- The CNM-Street Food Institute food truck, which is operated by CNM Culinary Arts students, will make a special stop to serve lunch in the Ted Chavez Hall parking lot from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Students and employees get a 25 percent discount.

CNM Nutrition Student Receives $50,000 Scholarship from USDA
Aug. 8, 2013 -- Suzanne Porter-Bolton, a Central New Mexico Community College nutrition major, has been awarded a $50,000 United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) scholarship funded by a Healthy Meals Fit for Life grant. It is one of the largest scholarships a CNM student has ever received.

July 3, 2014 -- Three CNM students earned medals at this year’s National SkillsUSA Championships that were held in Kansas City, Mo. from June 23-27, when 6,000 career technical education students from around the country put their skills to the test.
