Investment Study Can Help Students Save for Education, a House or Starting a Business
March 4, 2013 -- CNM students can apply to participate in a study called the “Suncat Savings Challenge” that will allow many students to invest in a matched savings account. For every dollar a qualifying student puts into the account, public and private institutions will match the dollar with four dollars.

Record Number of Employees Donate to Charitable Causes
March 18, 2013 – A record 635 CNM employees put their caring ways on display during CNM’s Leading the Way Employee Giving Campaign. They will donate $119,628 during 2013 to a wide variety of charitable causes, including scholarships for students in need.

CNM Offering 8-Week Fast-Track Courses This Summer
March 20, 2013 -- For the summer term, CNM will be offering about 20 percent of its course sections in an 8-week format, allowing students to reduce the length of a course by about a month and extend their summer break. A normal summer term course at CNM runs 12 weeks.

March 26, 2013 -- Dr. Joseph Sadek, an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of New Mexico who also leads the Veterans Affairs Center Psychiatric Poly-Trauma Team, will speak about Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injuries on Thursday, March 28, from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Main Campus in the Smith Brasher Hall auditorium, Room 100.
