Hospitality & Tourism Students Tour the New Hotel Chaco in Albuquerque
March 1, 2017 -- Students in Heidi Laughlin’s Introduction to Tourism class recently joined Courtney Padilla, corporate director of Special Projects for Heritage Hotels & Resorts, to tour the new Hotel Chaco, currently in the final stages of construction. Hotel Chaco is on course for a soft opening in mid-April.

Middle Schoolers Get Hands On With Career Technical Programs
July 17, 2015 -- More than 100 students in grades 6-8 attended a free CNM Career Technical Education Summer Camp on Friday, July 17, when they participated in hands-on activities designed to introduce them to some of the many career technical education programs offered at the college.

Mock Emergency Exercise Scheduled for Friday on Main Campus
October 19, 2016 -- About 200 students from six programs in the School of Health, Wellness & Public Safety will be responding to a large-scale mock emergency situation as a learning exercise on Friday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to noon. It will occur at the east end of the Student Resource Center, the SRC lawn, the JS Building and the S Building. The mock scenario will involve a domestic violence situation that turns into a deadly shooting in the SRC Richard Barr Boardroom.
