CNM Offers Free Screening of “A Place at the Table” Documentary on Hunger
Oct. 16, 2013 -- CNM is hosting a free screening of the movie “A Place at the Table,” a documentary on hunger that features Jeff Bridges, founder of the End Hunger Network. The screening will take place Oct. 23 in Smith Brasher Hall, Room 100 from 4-7 p.m.

March 31, 2015 -- More than 625 high school and college students from across the state will converge on CNM campuses April 10 to put their skills to the test in the 2015 SkillsUSA State Leadership & Skills Conference. About 70 of the competitors will be CNM students.

April 30, 2015 -- The CNM Surveying Program recently participated in a student competition sponsored by the National Society of Professional Surveyors. The competition took place in Washington, D.C. on April 13 with entries from across the country. This year was the first time that entries from colleges with associate degree programs were accepted

Students Organize Toy and Winter Coat Drive
CNM's Executive Council of Students is conducting a toy and winter coat donation drive that will benefit children in the area. "We really care about our community and we wanted to help out any way we can," said student Stephen Martos, president of the Executive Council of Students. "We thought a toy and coat drive would be the perfect way to help our community this holiday season."

Employees Honored for Outstanding Work
CNM employees Anthony Rael, Pam Etre-Perez, Tom Pierce and Christine Duncan were recently honored by the college for outstanding efforts, which included establishing an English as a Second Language class for CNM Operations employees and for organizing the disbursement of $23 million in financial aid to students.
