CNM Partners with Navajo Nation to Train Community Dental Health Coordinators
February 22, 2017 -- The CNM School of Health, Wellness & Public Safety (HWPS) has partnered with the Navajo Nation to train a second cohort of Community Dental Health Coordinators. New Partnership Brings Electric Lineworker Training Facility to Rio Rancho Campus
February 15, 2017 -- CNM, CNM Ingenuity, Inc. and the New Mexico Rural Electric Cooperatives Association (NMRECA) have partnered to bring the association’s statewide Lineworker Electric Power Training Facility to the CNM Rio Rancho Campus where apprentices will train to become electrical lineworkers for one of NMRECA’s 19 rural cooperatives across the state.

The Accelerator, which will begin March 17, helps entrepreneurs gain the business skills they need to accelerate the growth of their fledgling businesses through an intensive, 10-week program.

CNM One of 12 Colleges Selected to Grow National Credential Program for Retail Workers
Feb. 8, 2017 – The League for Innovation in the Community College today announced a $2.9 million grant from the Walmart Foundation to develop a three-part credentialing program for retail workers. Central New Mexico Community College is among one of 12 community colleges across the country to be chosen to participate in the program, Brighter Futures 3.0, which will build on the success of the Western Association of Food Chains’ (WAFC) Retail Management Certificate.
