Hospitality & Tourism Students Tour the New Hotel Chaco in Albuquerque
March 1, 2017 -- Students in Heidi Laughlin’s Introduction to Tourism class recently joined Courtney Padilla, corporate director of Special Projects for Heritage Hotels & Resorts, to tour the new Hotel Chaco, currently in the final stages of construction. Hotel Chaco is on course for a soft opening in mid-April.

February 22, 2017 -- The CNM School of Health, Wellness & Public Safety (HWPS) has partnered with the Navajo Nation to train a second cohort of Community Dental Health Coordinators. The American Dental Association is providing funds to cover tuition, fees and books, as well as paying some administrative costs.

New Partnership Brings Electric Lineworker Training Facility to Rio Rancho Campus
February 15, 2017 -- CNM, CNM Ingenuity, Inc. and the New Mexico Rural Electric Cooperatives Association (NMRECA) have partnered to bring the association’s statewide Lineworker Electric Power Training Facility to the CNM Rio Rancho Campus where apprentices will train to become electrical lineworkers for one of NMRECA’s 19 rural cooperatives across the state.
