Room Rental Policy, Fees and Set up

The staff of the Workforce Training Center (WTC) believe it is beneficial to the community to make rooms available for rent to qualified groups from business and industry on a space available basis, insofar as the rental customers use the building in accordance with the mission of the Workforce Training Center. The mission is posted in public areas of the building and at the bottom of this page for your convenience.

The following are the policies for space rental which we believe to be in the best interests of both the WTC and our rental customers.

Services Offered:

  • The WTC rents rooms on a space available basis for a fee as outlined in the attached schedule. We offer this service at a rate that is both reasonable and competitive. The WTC does not offer all of the amenities that rental customers might expect at a full-service hotel or convention center, because we are not primarily in the room rental business.

  • Room rental fees  

We can provide the following:

  • Rooms for rent on a space available basis;

  • Tables and chairs (subject to availability based on number of rooms in use);

  • Setup of tables & chairs;

  • Audio/Visual/Internet as noted in the attached fee schedule;

  • Usual & customary custodial services;

  • Vending machines;

  • Public telephones in the lobby;

  • A list of local service providers for additional services, including caterers

  • Seminar planning and hosting at WTC and other locations.

We do not provide the following:

  • Copying services,

  • Computer use (except for computer lab renters),

  • Laptop computers,

  • Food & Beverage services (vending machines in the lobby),

  • Telephones (public phones are located in the lobby).

The process to rent space at WTC is as follows:

Please download, print and complete the  Room rental request 
and send it to Trinnie Coriz via fax at (505) 224-5270.

  • A room will be reserved on a tentative basis.

  • The room rental contract will be sent for your signature.

  •  Return the signed contract keeping one copy for your records.

*We cannot rent space for non-business functions such as parties, wedding receptions, fraternal events, religious events, etc., which do not support our mission.
