Reading, Sentence Skills (English), and Math Placement Exams are offered to determine your appropriate course level.  All AccuplacerTM scores are good for five years.

The placement exams are usually administered using AccuplacerTM computerized testing software. The computerized version averages 1-2 hours for completion of all test batteries. The paper and pencil version of AccuplacerTM, called a "Companion" exam, is also available to accommodate large groups or other special needs. The paper and pencil version averages 2.5-3 hours for completion of all test batteries. These exams are self paced and are not timed.

** "Ability to Benefit" (ATB) has additional guidelines are as follows:

You must take all three exams at once, even when retesting. Qualifying scores are 55 for reading, 60 for sentence skills, 34 for arithmetic. Companion paper/pencil scores are not eligible for ATB.
