Academic and Event Scheduling Department

You can request areas of CNM for classroom needs or college events. Before you submit your request, choose the one of the options that best fits your situation. If you have questions, feel free to email at scheduling@cnm.edu.

CNM policy allows qualified community organizations to use College facilities subject to reasonable standards and fees.

Request Space for Non-CNM Event

Use this option if you are requesting space for anything other than official CNM academic or business use (including meetings, community activities, conferences, trainings, and filming). Visit SPACE Solutions to reserve a venue.

Request a Computer Lab for an Academic Section

Use this option if you are requesting space in a computer lab for your class. Section identifying information is required, and labs may only be used in accordance with Academic Affairs Computer Lab policy and processes. Request a computer lab.

Request a different classroom for an Academic Section

Use this option if you would like to change the room assignment for your class. Section identifying information is required. Room change requests will be reviewed and processed by your academic school. Request a classroom assignment change.

Reserve a General Classroom or General Conference Room

If you would like to reserve a standard classroom or conference room, you can use the Astra Schedule system. Learn about how you can reserve a general classroom or conference room with the Astra Schedule system.

Other Scheduling Needs

Use this option if you have a different scheduling need, including requesting: an auditorium, specialty instructional space, lab or studio space, a computer lab for an event, non-business hour use of facilities, or resources (such as inclusion on the MCO calendar, AVS or Maintenance support, or special parking arrangements). Request a specialized area of CNM.

About Astra Schedule

We use Astra Schedule to reserve CNM facilities and resources for classes and events. Read the “How To” guides to learn how to use Astra Schedule common reservations.

As CNM employees, you can get access to use the Astra Schedule system after attending and completing our training session. We create your user account during the training session.

You can register for training by logging into myCNM, then going to the Employee tab, and clicking on the Employee Learning link in the CNM Talent Management portlet. Click on Browse for Training, find the ITS Introduction to Astra Schedule, select the training you’d like to attend, and click the Request button.

If you need a refresher or more training after completing the introduction training session, find the ITS Advanced Astra Scheduling session in the CNM Talent Management system.
