Electronics Technology

  • Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electronics Technology (Concentration in General or Process Control)
  • Certificate in Electronics Technology
  • The Electronics Technology program provides students with a broad base of skills in analog and digital electronics with electromechanical and computer applications.
  • The General Concentration complements the core curriculum with an understanding of a student-selected area or emphasis.
  • Courses such as Electromechanical System Troubleshooting provide students troubleshooting techniques for the repair of electronic equipment and systems.
  • Other courses teach upgrading and repairing PC�s.
  • Students will be given the opportunity to obtain the skills and knowledge necessary to obtain an A+ computer certification, which is an industry-recognized credential.
  • The Process Control Concentration complements the core curriculum with an in-depth study of maintenance and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems, sensor and feedback theories, industrial robotics and computer integrated manufacturing.
  • Laboratory exercises require students to apply their general education courses through written reports, computer-generated documents and mathematical calculations.
  • Hands-on experience is provided throughout the entire program.
  • The Electronics Technology Certificate Program provides students with a broad base of skills in AC, DC and digital electronics with electromechanical and computer applications.
