SIFE Team Awarded First Runner-up at National Competition

SIFE, a student organization that is active in over 1800 college and university campuses in over 40 countries throughout the world,  plan, organize, and implement projects designed to teach the benefits of the free enterprise economic system in their communities and to global audiences.  Students present their efforts in regional, national, and global competitions that are judged by Presidents, CEOs, and other officers of some of the largest companies in the world.

On May 13 through May 15, CNM's Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) participated, along with teams from 165 colleges and universities, at the National Exposition in Chicago.   Our students created and delivered a professional presentation enumerating their efforts during the academic year.  CNM's SIFE Team was awarded First Runner-up in this national competition.  Congratulations to our students Anna Ballenger, Scott Tillman, Aimee Powers, Andrea Lujan, Javier Corrales, Rosenda Flores, and Janet Quintanilla.  A special thanks goes to KLindemann, BIT instructor and SIFE faculty advisor for his endeavors in enabling the SIFE team to represent CNM at its best!
