Associate of Applied Science Degree in Accounting

Two students studying Refer to pages 69-71 in CNM 2009-11 Catalog.

The Accounting program provides graduates with a strong foundation in the theory and procedures of accounting for business transactions.  Computer technology and software applications that facilitate production of accounting information are an integral part of the program.

Students will gain skills in:

Financial Accounting
Budgeting
Utilization of Financial Reports
Payroll Accounting
Personal Tax
Computer Accounting
   Applications

The Accounting Program offers an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting Degree, a Certificate in Accounting, and a Certificate in Bookkeeping (see brochure).

  (only available to students
  having a Bachelor’s degree from
  an accredited institution)
