This program is designed to prepare students for a career in Information Technology.  The focus is on system administration.  Students learn to design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot computer systems in a business environment.  Students work with client and server software and hardware.  Students practice operating system installation, user management, security, hardware configuration and a variety of other tasks related to system administration. 

The Computer Information Systems program offers the following skill sets:

Business Applications Design
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Graphics Design
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE)
Microsoft Software Support
Multimedia Development
Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT)
Web Graphics Specialist

Students will gain skills in:

Network Support
Windows Operating System
Network Infrastructure
MCSA/MCSE Preparation
