The School of Communication, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CHSS) is an active and growing at CNM. You'll find we have a strong and challenging academic curriculum that is well suited to the needs of CNM's students today. While you are likely to find the answers to many of your questions on our web site, please let us know if you can't find what you're looking for.

CHSS offers associate degrees in Elementary Education, Fine Arts, Liberal Arts, and Child, Youth and Family Development, with skill sets in pre-professional writing and for Child Development Associate licensure.

CHSS also offers transfer guidance to students who wish to continue their studies after completing their work at CNM. CHSS courses are transferable to other degree-granting institutions as freshmen and sophomore electives or requirements.
