What is Cultural Studies?

Cultural Studies is an interdisciplinary program designed to provide students with the tools for significant insight into as well as awareness and understanding of varied aspects of culture. Students examine the forces which shape their culture and their perception of other cultures through a variety of sources, including literature, film, historical texts, and socio-economic texts and issues.
