Associate of Arts - Fine Art Degrees
The School of Communication, Humanities, and Social Sciences( CHSS) offers two Associate of Arts Fine Art Degrees: concentration in Art History and Art Studio. On January 16, 2009, articulated agreements with UNM were signed. Articulated Agreements allow a student to complete two years at CNM and transfer to UNM for the remaining two years for a B.A. in Fine Arts.
- Art Studio: This degree focuses on the applied aspects of art and studio instruction.
- Art History: This degree focuses on the history of art.
Both degrees include a general education curriculum of 35 hours which is accepted at New Mexico's colleges and universities as part of the general education core for degree completion.
