The Education Department at CNM offers two Associate of Arts (AA) degrees.
The AA degree in Child, Youth and Family Development has two concentrations; one, in Family Studies and the other in Early Childhood Multicultural Education (ECME). Students interested in this degree are strongly encouraged to seek advisement early in their program as these degrees have very different transfer and career options.
The AA in Elementary Education has concentrations in elementary education, bilingual education and special education. Students interested in secondary education should contact the department for advisement as well.
