For students and community members who work in child-care settings, the department offers the Child Development Associate (CDA) skill set.  This sequence prepares students for professional certification in this area.

To renew a CDA certificate, students can take any related CDV or ECME course.  Students must also fulfill additional requirements that are outlined in the renewal packet which can be downloaded at: http://www.cdacouncil.org/CDA_renew.htm

Students pursuing an AA Degree qualify to optain a License as an Educational Assistant.
