Geography

Welcome to the Geography department web pages.  Geography may be understood to be a science that focuses on the spatial distribution of human and physical phenomena,  or the study of the physical world and the interaction and patterns of its inhabitants.

Perhaps you've heard  reports of students who are unable to find Mississippi, Afghanistan or Australia on the map. If you think you might be one of those students, then a geography course would be a good choice for you. And even if you know where to find those locations, geography reveals much more as the complex relationships between man, environment, and location are explored.
