American Indian Education Fund Scholarship Reception
|
| Through a matching grant from the American Indian Education Foundation, the CNM Foundation is working to provide scholarship assistance to American Indian students and help them achieve their academic goals. |
| The CNM Foundation recently distributed $54,000 in American Indian Education Foundation scholarships to students like Charis Martin, a single mother of two, pursuing an Associate Degree in Nursing and Liberal Arts who wants to be a role model for her children by showing them the value of an education. Pictured with Charis Martin is Mike Canfield, President of Valliant Enterprises, Inc. and donor for this scholarship and CNM Foundation Executive Director, Robin Brule. |

The CNM Foundation has a current goal of $70,000 in total matched funds to raise for American Indian students. If you would like to support this effort, contact the CNM Foundation at 224-4685.

The CNM Foundation has partnered with PNM, Don Chalmers Ford, and Wells Fargo to help individuals access a variety of publicly-funded assistance programs. The partnership has created an on-line guide that provides detailed information to low and moderate-income individuals and families living in New Mexico.
Visit www.NewMexicoResources.org to search this on-line tool that will help guide students through the complicated process of obtaining benefits and services. CNM programs can now direct their students needing public assistance to this website to get resources and overcome obstacles for them to be able to continue and complete their course work.
