What is an Achievement Coach?

An Achievement Coach helps students succeed at CNM. The role of the Achievement Coaches is to help students succeed with their education and career goals. This is accomplished by problem solving to eliminate barriers to their education and to build on their strengths. The overall goal of the Achievement Coaches is to help retain students in SAGE classes.

Which students do you work with?

SAGE Achievement Coaches work with any student taking a GED Class, an English as a Second Language (ESL) class , an English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) class, or a Developmental Education class. Developmental Education classes are any classes that are numbered below 1000. We also support students taking any College Success Experience (CSE) class.

Are there other Achievement Coaches?

Yes, click here for a complete list of all CNM Achievement Coaches.

Are you willing to make appointments with students in the evening or at other campuses?
