Enrollment Process - Getting Started
CNM has an open admissions policy for individuals meeting our general admission requirements.
| Wait...you may not need to apply here if... 1. you have attended CNM within the last year, just register for your courses through my CNM (only students changing from a CNM high school-aged program or students last attending more than one year ago must reapply) 2. you want to take non-credit community education courses |
1. Apply
a) online*. CNM does not charge an admissions application fee.
*online admissions is available for US citizens and requires use of your social security number. CNM online systems are normally available daily except 10pm-midnight and during scheduled outages. See our help tools below before starting online admissions. Students not using online admissions can apply at a CNM Admission Office in person or mail an admissions application to us.
2. Before Registering
a) Set-up your my CNM student account. CNM sends registration and other important
information to your my CNM student email address.
b) Meet course prerequisites.
c) If you are attending college for the first time, you must complete an online
orientation before you can register for classes.
d) If you need help interpreting your assessment scores or selecting the courses you
want to take, visit with an academic advisor.
e) Plan your schedule.
3. Register for Courses
a) Check your Registration Date and Time then register for your classes online in your
my CNM student web site.
b) Pay for your classes by the end of the next business day (unless otherwise noted)
