       College and Career Bound

CNM's College and Career Bound program provides an opportunity to earn college credits. To qualify for the College and Career Bound program, you must:
  • Be currently enrolled as a high school sophomore, junior or senior in the CNM service area.
  • Be at least 16 years of age if a home schooled.
  • Have proof of current high school or home school enrollment.
  • Have ACT, SAT or Accuplacer scores on file at CNM.

Students can take up to 18 credits of CNM courses (numbered 0900 and above) per term. If approved by your high school or home-school program, you may also receive high school credit for these courses.

Advantages of the Program

  • College and Career Bound students can complete a college certificate or degree more quickly because they start college while in high school or being home-schooled.
  • While College and Career Bound students must pay all tuition and fees, this program provides greater flexibility than Dual Enrollment because students can enroll in any CNM course (numbered 0900 and above) for which they qualify.
