Dual Credit Program Requirements

To be eligible for dual credit a high school student must:

  • Be a current high school sophomore, junior or senior from a school district that has a dual credit agreement with CNM.
  • Have taken the ACT or SAT or taken CNM's college level assessment (Accuplacer) test for appropriate course placement. Click here for more information about Assessment testing at CNM.

Dual credit students:

  • can take up to 18 credits hours per term.
  • can take courses numbered 1000* and higher.
  • will receive elective high school credit and CNM college credit when a course is completed satisfactorily
