| Students transferring to CNM would need to complete the following steps: |
| | | 1. | Make sure CNM’s school code is on FAFSA (004742) | | | | 2. | Apply to CNM for admission and registration purposes | | | | 3. | Request official transcripts to be sent to CNM if you have attended other colleges | | | | 4. | Meet with Academic Advisor to review transfer hours from other colleges | | | | 5. | Cancel aid at other institution if you have attended in the current year | | | | 6. | Declare financial eligible major | | | | 7. | Complete financial aid package and turn in documentation as needed at CNM | | | |
| Students transferring to another school must complete the following steps: |

| 1. | Request to cancel aid at CNM | | | | 2. | Add other school code to FAFSA | | | | 3. | Request official transcripts from CNM to be sent to the other college | | | | 4. | Apply to other college and complete their requirements and turn in related documentation | | | |
| In order to transfer your Financial Aid, you must know the school code of the school you will be attending and add the new code to your FAFSA. |
