| CNM scholarships are intended to help defray the cost of attendance and encourage New Mexico residents to complete a degree or certificate program at CNM. New and continuing awards are based on the limited availability of funds and are awarded to assist students in the most beneficial manner possible. | |
| Eligibility Requirements: | |
| Maintain satisfactory academic progress (SAP); cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, completion rate of 70% and be within maximum time frame (MTF) Have not received a Bachelors’ Degree Have unmet need as determined by FAFSA Enroll for a minimum of 6 credit hours each term Be a resident of New Mexico Be a citizen of the United States or a or an eligible non-citizen Be admitted to CNM and have declared a financial aid eligible major Have completed a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) | |

| Duration of Eligibility: | |
| The initial scholarship begins with the first term of the award. Thereafter, each scholarship is for a period of one term and is subject to continuing eligibility requirements and fund availability. | |
| How and When to Apply: | |
| Apply online January through June for the upcoming academic year at http://www.cnm.edu/depts/fass/scholarships. Scholarship applications may become available for the following terms only if additional funds become available. For spring and/or summer term(s) see Financial Aid and Scholarship Services. | |
