Step 1: Eligibility > Step 2: Referral Process > Step 3: Hiring Process

1. View available student employment positions posted on the CNM FASS web site.
2. Choose a campus, select a job number and print the Student Employment Job Posting and Referral page.
3. Schedule an interview with the supervisor listed on the referral form.
4. For the interview you will also need to provide proof of your student employment eligibility with either (a) a Financial Aid Award letter or (b) a Financial Aid Award verification. If you do not have access to your Financial Aid Award letter, request that the supervisor go online to cnm.edu and follow these steps to show your student employment eligibility:
   
   1.  Click Financial Aid from the Cost and Financial Aid drop down > 2. Click on the Check Financial Aid Status link at the left of the web page > 3. Click on the Login to Secure Area graphic > 4. Click Yes > 5. Type in your CNM ID and password and press Submit > 6. Click the Financial Aid graphic > 7. Choose  My Award Information > 8. Choose Award by Aid Year > 9. Your awards will be listed
   
5. The following will also be required at the interview:
   
   -A class schedule for the current term indicating a minimum of 6 eligible credit hours in an eligible program
   -A Student Employment application (optional) (159 kb) .

If you are hired by the department, submit the Student Employment Job Posting and Referral form signed by the supervisor to Financial Aid and Scholarship Services.
