Student Aide V Job Description: Must be US Citizen, national, or permanent resident and no member may engage in political activity during AmeriCorps length of service. Non US Citizens/ permanent residents can become UNM Service Corps members. To be an active UNM Service Corps Member during the regular semester the student must be a full-time UNM student (6 graduate credits or 12 undergraduate credits) enrolled in a degree program. This does not apply during the summer. Members are required to show certificate of birth, and/or citizenship. Members are given a 60-day trial period at the beginning of their term to familiarize themselves with the program. More info on Student Aide V... Pay rate: $7.50

-Provide proof of your student employment eligibility with a Financial Aid Award letter. If you do not have yours available for the interview, request that the supervisor go online and follow these steps to verify student employment eligibility:
1. Go online to cnm.edu > 2. From the Services and Resources drop down, click Current Student > 3. Under Online Services, click Financial Aid & Loan Status > 4. Click the Login to Secure Area image > 5. Enter login and password information and press Submit > 6. Click Financial Aid > 7. Click My Overall Status of Financial Aid > 8. Select the aid year from the drop down list and press Submit > 9. Show the supervisor your student employment award
If hired:
- Return this completed job referral form to the Student Employment office in Financial Aid and Scholarship Services at Main or Montoya Campus or Student Services at South Valley or CNM Westside campus.
- At that time provide verification of identity, such as, the state issued driver's license and valid Social Security card. These two forms of identification are requested to complete the hiring process.
- Complete the I-9 and W-4 forms.
