If you are eligible for veterans educational benefits and are registered at least 3/4-time in certified classes for the term, you can apply to work in the VA work study program. The VA Regional Office at 500 Gold SE in Albuquerque has more information on specific work locations. The student is paid $6.50 per hour for each 50 hours of work at the rate of federal minimum wage, which is untaxed.
