Satisfactory Academic Progress Assessment

The following are the answers to the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) assessment:

1.

Question:   The completion rate of SAP requires students to "complete" at least 66.67% of all coursework (registered credit hours) attempted at CNM. Grades of I, F and W meet this requirement.

Answer:   False - Only grades of A, B, C, D, and CR meet the SAP completion requirement

2.

Question:  Suspended students may still receive student loans.

Answer: False - Suspended students are not eligible for loans.

3.

Question: Once a student reaches the time limit for a program, a change of major means that the student can begin over.

Answer: False - All credit hours attempted count towards SAP.
