Scholarships for NM Residents

New Mexico residents are eligible for scholarships.

Scholarships for New Mexico residents require a new CNM Scholarship Application each year.

This online application allows students to be considered for all three scholarships as well as other scholarships that may become available during the academic year. A CNM Scholarship Application is available online for the upcoming academic year beginning each February and it remains online as long as funds are available.

Most CNM Institutional Scholarships also require a completed Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA). Students who are unable to complete a FAFSA are encouraged to complete the CNM Scholarship Application to be considered for scholarships that do not have a FAFSA requirement.

Awards are made to students who meet the eligibility requirements as long as funds are available. Please read the information sheet  for detailed requirements on specific scholarships.
