The following is step-by-step instructions for graduation at CNM:
| STEP 1 | Know where and when:

| STEP 2 | Visit Enrollment Services for the graduation process information. |
| STEP 3 | Preliminary information: - If you have applied by November 7, 2008, and are eligible to graduate, you will receive an invitation e-mail from the Student Activities office at your cnm.edu e-mail address. The e-mail will include instructions on how to sign up for commencement utilizing an online form.
- After you sign up, purchase your cap and gown from the Main Campus CNM Bookstore.
- Check your graduation packet to ensure your tassel is enclosed (extra tassels will not be available at the commencement ceremony).
- Buy your graduation announcements and other graduation items such as diploma covers, frames and novelty items from either the Main or Montoya Bookstore.

| STEP 5 | AT JOHNSON CENTER: Please wear appropriate attire under your gown (for men, nice slacks and shoes; for women, dresses or nice slacks and shoes).
