Please note recent changes to the Governing Board Handbook, the Employee Handbook, and the CNM Source. Updates to the Governing Board Handbook include a revised Foreword and Equal Opportunity Policy. The Employee Handbook has been modified to include updates to the Introduction, the Equal Opportunity Policy, and Educational Benefits. A new policy has been added regarding Reporting Observed, Suspected or Apparent Misconduct. A procedure regarding reporting misconduct has also been added to the Source. Each of these changes are effective August 12, 2014.
CNM’s policies and procedures are reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure they remain current and relevant. On August 12, 2014, Governing Board Resolution numbers 2014-58, 2014-59, and 2014-60 were approved, enacting the following revisions:
- Updates to the Foreword, the Introduction, and the Equal Opportunity Policy based on College and Regulatory requirements;
- Modification of the Educational Benefits policy to amend tuition & fee waivers for dependents of full and part-time employees to per term, rather than per calendar year. A requirement to be enrolled in a degree or certificate program was also added to the Tuition Reimbursement benefit for regular full-time employees as specified; and
- Addition of the Reporting Observed, Suspected, or Apparent Misconduct policy and procedure, outlining responsibilities for reporting misconduct based on compliance with the Whistleblower Protection Act.
