Biotechnology Home Information Sessions Petition Information
| | The Biotechnology Program is now accepting petitions for entry into the program for summer 2008. Twenty-four students will be selected to begin the Biotechnology courses on May 19th. In order to assure that students who are admitted to the Biotechnology Programs have the necessary science courses completed as prerequisites, we are conducting a “petition for selection” process. This process allows us to review the degree of completion of the Arts & Sciences courses required for the Associate of Science Degree in Biotechnology. Please note that all prerequisites or co-requisite courses need not be completed to be accepted into the program - selection will be based on the number of Arts & Sciences courses that are completed (including those you may be registered for this spring or summer). Selection will be done on an on-going basis and students will be notified by e-mail with instructions for registering for Biotechnology courses this summer. Please bring the completed application and other required documentation to Main Campus JS 310 during the petition period (now through May 12th). The documents are also available in JS 310.
