All students interested in the Veterinary Technology Program should attend an information session. The purpose of the session is to introduce the program and the profession, to provide academic advisement and to discuss the petition process for selection to begin the Veterinary Technology Program.
Information will be presented about the:
- vision, mission and goals of the Veterinary Technology Program
- status and progress on the accreditation of the program by the AVMA
- exciting and fulfilling features of a profession in veterinary technology
- five term sequence of this full time associate degree program
- courses that create the program and the prerequisites
- resources to professional web sites for further information
- petition and entry process for the CNM program (Fall 2010)
You do not have to register for the sessions. Please be prompt, bring a pen, and have read about the Veterinary Technology course requirements in the current CNM catalog.
