ITS SSH Accounts

Secure Shell or SSH is a network protocol that allows data to be exchanged using a secure channel between two computers.

Encryption provides confidentiality and integrity of data over an insecure network, such as the Internet.  Common uses at CNM are for publishing content to web pages on W3 and upload and download files.

Links provided here are just some suggested sites for home users to download SSH client on their own computer.  There are other sites not listed on these pages you may use as well.
