 | Jeanette Rich, Director of Job Connection Center, took preliminary coursework at both TVI (now CNM) and UNM before transferring to the College of Santa Fe, where she earned a BA in Psychology. As an undergraduate at the College of Santa Fe, Jeanette was a founding member and the first president of the local chapter of Psi Chi, the national honor society for psychology. |
Jeanette went on to earn an MA in Counseling from Webster University. During that time, she completed a graduate internship in career development and counseling. Following graduation from Webster, Jeanette worked for a managed care organization, specializing in behavioral health.
In 1999 Jeanette joined TVI’s Academic Advisement and Career Development Department as an Academic Advisor, where she guided and assisted innumerable students from their initial steps into the academic arena through their final steps onto the stage at their graduation ceremonies. Jeanette accepted the position of Director of Job Connection Center in July 2008.
She is an internationally certified Global Career Development facilitator. For a number of years she has made presentations on Emotional Empowerment in the Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and around New Mexico for State employees, Albuquerque Public Schools, various hospitals, and for the New Mexico Academic Advising Association. Jeanette has received two Excellence Awards from CNM and is a vocalist and keyboard player with CNM’s own Desert Thunder band.
