More Information about Leading the Way at CNM

Every Gift Counts!

  • Invest what you can – no gift is too small
  • Your gift amount is always confidential
  • Your participation is a key factor.  Private sector donors often ask us how many employees financially support the community before they decide on their giving level.  If you financially support our mission, so will others in the community.
  • Our goal will always be 100% participation.
  • There is strength in numbers – if every one of our 1,600 employees participates, imagine what WE can DO!

Leading the Way….

Faculty and staff at CNM already lead the way in the
classroom and the laboratory, in workforce development
and administration, in technical services and office support.

Now CNM faculty and staff have the opportunity to lead
the way in our employee giving campaign.

What are the responsibilities of the Campaign Steering Committee, and who is on the committee?

The Campaign Steering Committee is comprised of CNM employees, CNM Foundation representatives and United Way representatives. They are responsible for helping to create and organize all activities involved in running the campaign. They are also responsible for serving as a liaison between their assigned departments and the steering committee. They provide guidance to fellow employees and ensure that all campaign materials are distributed to employees in their assigned departments.

What is the pledge form?

A form that identifies the contributing employee and the beneficiary to which they wish to donate.

How does the payroll deduction method of donating work?

Your annual gift is incrementally deducted from your paycheck throughout the year. For example, if you give in the 2007 campaign, the pledge will be deducted from your bi-monthly check beginning in January of 2008. Pledge payments will only be withdrawn from 24 pay periods.

What is a one-time gift?

A donation given to the CNM Foundation or United Way once, by check, credit card, or cash.
