UNM Community Borrower Cards

All CNM students, faculty, and staff with a current CNM library account can checkout materials from most UNM Libraries. First verify that your CNM Libraries account is current (and without blocks or fines) and then head over to UNM's Zimmerman library with your CNM ID to get a Community Borrower Card.

UNM Libraries where you can use your Community Borrower Card*:

Centennial Science and Engineering Library
Fine Arts Library
Parish Memorial Library
Zimmerman Library

*Please note that to use UNM’s Law Library or Health Sciences Library, you will need a Passport.

These cards are valid for the current UNM semester. Before attempting to renew a UNM account, please verify the status of your CNM library account.

Passport (NM Academic Libraries Access)

Most college and university libraries in New Mexico participate in the Passport program . This means that as a CNM student, you can borrow materials from their libraries too. Fill out a Passport request form at any of the CNM Libraries.

Passports are valid for the current CNM semester and can be renewed.
