To Help Ensure Quality and Consistency, Peer Reviews of CNM Distance Learning Classes to Begin Soon

Quality Matters (QM) is the standard that has been adopted by the Distance Learning Advisory Board for CNM’s distance learning classes. In an effort to assist in faculty professional development, promote excellence in online teaching, and to ensure quality and consistency in online course offerings at CNM, a process will begin in about two weeks that will involve QM Internal Peer Reviews of CNM distance learning classes. As part of the Internal QM Peer Review Process, DL instructors will receive constructive feedback and ideas for improving their online courses in order to enhance the learning experience for CNM students.

After courses for review have been identified, a “peer reviewer” will contact the appropriate school and the CNM instructor to schedule a review. Reviewers will need access to a course for approximately 14-21 days to complete the review. A QM Peer Review Report with feedback will be provided to both the instructor and the school following the review. For more info on QM standards, click here.
