 Departmental (Discipline) Level Assessment

 This type of assessment seeks to define and diagnose student performance in some common area across different courses or across the department.  Faculty may collaborate with colleagues on one project. This may also include next-level success diagnostics (such as following students transfer to another degree program). Action plan for “closing the loop” should be developed along with an estimated a timeline for tracking of changes (i.e. did action plan result in a marked improvement in student learning in subsequent terms / years).
