September 19, 2017 -- Don McIver, CNM Assistance Centers for Education (ACE) manager, part-time faculty member in the School of Communication, Humanities & Social Studies and a slam poet, is taking on a new role. He is now the curator of 516 WORDS, a poetry reading series that takes place every fifth Friday at 516 ARTS in downtown Albuquerque.

Strategic Direction Initiative to Expand Fast Track Programs Gaining Momentum
June 14, 2017 -- One of CNM’s Strategic Direction Goals is to expand the college’s “Fast Track” degree program model, which is inspired by the success of the initial Fast Track Business Administration Associate Degree program that was launched in 2014. The program is geared for working professionals and uses an accelerated format that allows students to complete and graduate from the program in just 15 months.
CNM’s Old Cafeteria Becomes Kitchen for Street Food Institute
June 13, 2017 -- CNM’s old cafeteria, located in the Student Services Center on Main Campus, is now being used as the primary kitchen for the Street Food Institute (SFI).
