New Signs Remind CNM Community That Storm Water Drains Lead to Rio Grande
October 14, 2015 -- In an effort to make the CNM community aware that storm water flowing into storm drains carrying ground pollution goes directly to the Rio Grande, CNM students and instructors placed storm drain markers on drains around Main Campus.
Learn About Kirtland Fuel Spill on Wednesday During Water in Desert Series
Oct. 8, 2015 -- Dr. Dennis McQuillan, geologist for the Environment Department and technical lead for the Kirtland Fuel Spill Remediation Project, will speak about his work on the spill and similar endeavors with the Animas River cleanup on Oct. 14 from 6-7 p.m. in the CNM Student Resource Center, Room 204.

September 24, 2015 -- A festive atmosphere permeated CNM’s Main Campus on Friday as the college celebrated its 50th anniversary and the grand reopening of the Science Lab (L) Building.
Business Administration Fast Track Students Participate in ‘Shark Tank’ Event
January 14, 2015 -- At the end of their first term, students in CNM’s Business Administration Fast Track cohort participated in a “Shark Tank” event in their Introduction to Business class taught by Ben White. The class was designed after the television show “Shark Tank.”
Major Project to Result in Safer, More Appealing Route to Busy Part of Main Campus
May 5, 2015 -- The north section of the Student Services Center parking is currently closed to vehicles beginning as a major construction project continues. The project is creating a safer and more appealing walkway for students to reach Max Salazar Hall and the Student Services Center from the University Blvd./Basehart Rd. intersection.
Physics League Team Wins 2015 STEM Knowledge Bowl
April 1, 2015 -- The student Physics League team claimed the championship title last week in the 2015 STEM Knowledge Bowl, organized by the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES).
NMPSIA Members Can Get Measles, Shingles Vaccines with No Copayment
March 12, 2015 -- Employees who are covered under the NMPSIA Medical Group Plan can get measles vaccinations and shingles vaccinations with no copayment with an Express Scripts ID Card when prescribed and administered by a certified pharmacist.
