Students Interested in STEM Degrees Can Learn More at Event Friday

Feb. 17, 2014 -- The CNM STEM-UP Program is hosting a STEM Orientation for all students currently pursuing or interested in pursuing a STEM degree, such as biology, chemistry, engineering, nutrition and physics degrees.

 

This event will provide information about STEM degrees and resources available to support the success of STEM students. A panel of STEM professionals will discuss internship and career opportunities available in the STEM fields. Student peer mentors currently pursuing STEM degrees will also be on hand.

The event will take place on Friday, Feb. 21, from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the Smith Brasher Hall auditorium (Room 100) on Main Campus. Call 224-4333 for more information about the event or click here to learn more about the STEM-UP Program.
