The following are services provided for the community and for CNM employees:
- New student orientation for faculty, newly admitted students as well as dual enrollment students
- Provide academic information to our service district regarding the depth and breadth of our program and services
- Providing services to students who wish to transfer
- Request for information about CNM
- Maintaining a virtual tour of CNM and providing an on-line orientation
- Conducting on campus orientations
- Developing new and innovative procedures to ease our graduating students transition to four year schools
- Hosting and publicizing four year school visits to CNM.
Recruitment, Orientation and Transitional Services accomplished it's mission by the following methods:
- Attending college day and career day programs at high schools in the CNM service district as well as participating in follow up visits
- Conducting periodic or "on request" visits to community based organizations
- Admitting high school seniors to CNM at their high schools
- Making presentations and participating in community events
- Participating in career day fairs at area businesses.
