The Student Health Center services are open to currently enrolled students from all CNM campuses. A variety of health related services are offered to CNM students. These services are only offered at CNM's Main Campus.
The following is a list of services offered at the Student Health Center Services:
- Acute and chronic illness care
- Physical examinations
- Women's health care
- Pregnancy tests
- Strep tests
- First aid
- Health education information
- Referrals and follow-up
- Prescriptions (as necessary)
- Clinical counseling
Through an arrangement with the Student Health Center at UNM, CNM students' prescriptions will be filled at the same discount given to UNM students.
Note: X-ray and dental services are not available.
Costs and payments:
There is a co-pay due before services are rendered. For current fees and an appointment, call the CNM Student Health Center at (505) 224-3080 or toll free 1-888-453-1304 or come by the office at 900 University SE, second floor, Room SSC 206.
Emergencies:
For life-threatening emergencies, call Security at (505) 224-3001 or 911 for rescue/ambulance services.
The Student Health Center is not equipped to handle emergencies—although first aid is available.
Immunizations:
Routine preventative immunizations are available at the Student Health Center. Flu vaccines are available in the fall.
