Carolina directs all aspects of the STEM UP grant at both CNM and UNM.  She is passionate about this work as she is Hispanic and from a low income background.  She also took course work at CNM and UNM to complete her bachelor's degree at UNM. Upon graduating, she earned an M.A. in Educational Management and Development from NMSU and is currently working toward a Doctorate in the same field. She has passionately invested 20 years into a career of working on grants and programs that help students transition in education: from high school to college, from two year to four year, and from undergraduate to graduate school.
