Did You Know?

The first learning center was created in 1974 to provide tutoring to Adult Basic Education students at CNM (formerly TVI). It was known at that time as the Adult Education Learning Center (AELC). In 1984, a second AELC opened at the Montoya Campus. Since that time ACE has grown and now maintains Learning Centers at nearly every campus.

ACE staff include tutors in most of the major disciplines – Science, Math, English, Computers, ESL, and GED.  Our tutors also staff open computer labs and support general education computer classrooms.  Additionally, 80 literacy volunteers work with students in classrooms and one-on-one.

To celebrate ACE and foster community within this talented and effective group, we host a conference each year.

Stay tuned for the ACE 2015 Conference. . .
