The CNM Career Technical Assessment Center is located at our Main Campus in Ted Chavez Hall, Room 107.
The Center offers free testing on the nine WorkKeys® skills to CNM students. Tests are paper and pencil, and last from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Students who complete tests are guaranteed a slot in KeyTrain™, a free on-line tutorial offered by CNM to help individuals improve their skills in one or more areas. Students will also receive an official WorkKeys report with their skills levels in each area to include with job applications and/or portfolios.
To get your KeyTrain™ account, bring your passport user ID and syllabus to TC 107. Instructors can get their class set up with KeyTrain™ accounts by providing a class roster and list of desired KeyTrain™ assignments.
Things to Keep in Mind About Testing
*Before you come in to test, make sure you know which of the nine WorkKeys tests you need, the name of your class, and the name of your instructor.
*You may test only once per term in a particular subject. If you are concerned about how you will do, consider working with KeyTrain™ before testing.
*If you have several tests to take, they can be done on the same day or split between several days based on your preference and available time.
*Tests are graded after the deadline (general deadline below or earlier class-specific deadline). Results are sent immediately to the instructor once they are received.

Testing at Montoya Campus
Testing at Montoya campus is held at the Business Resource Center, room H-124. Please call 224-5596 or visit here for hours and additional information.
Testing Deadlines For Summer 2008 (for testing center and all classes)
Deadline for short term classes (including BA 2999 and CJ 2999): June 20
Deadline for Listening, Writing and Business Writing tests: July 18
Deadline for all other tests: July 25
Testing deadlines will be enforced. If you test after a deadline, your results will not get back to your instructor in time for grades to be posted.
