After You Are Accepted
Once you apply online and your CNM ID # is generated you are ready to complete the following enrollment steps:
Create your myCNM student website
Use the student ID number you received during Admissions to set-up your myCNM student website. You can register for courses, view your grades, and communicate with your instructors in myCNM. CNM emails registration and other important information to your myCNM account.
Find your course
Submit your ACT or SAT scores to one of CNM's Assessment Offices or take CNM’s Accuplacer assessment to test for college-level course placement. See a CNM academic advisor for help with course selection. Be sure the course you've selected is one of the approved Dual Credit classes.
Orient yourself to CNM
You must complete the online orientation and enter your CNM ID# upon completion.
Plan your schedule
The Schedule of Classes is available approximately 2 weeks before Registration.
Approval
Print the Dual Credit Request Form and get approval signatures from your high school counselor and parent or guardian (if you are a minor) for the courses you've selected. Submit the form to any admissions or registration office at any of our campuses.
Register online
Once the Dual Credit Request form is processed, you can register and pay fees (if any) through myCNM. Your registration date and time is sent to your myCNM account.
