AQIP Action Projects

AQIP's Action Projects strengthen the College's commitment to continuous improvement.  Projects must make a serious and visible difference in achieving CNM's vision, mission, and goals.    Enhanced communication within CNM and among its stakeholders is embedded in each of the Action Projects.  The College identified four current Action Projects:

1. Design a study to analyze why students drop classes during the first two weeks of the term (full-term courses).  Study to include:  dropout rates for each academic school, survey of students who drop classes, analysis of results, and development of strategies to keep students in class, implementation of strategies, assessment, evaluation and improvement process.

2. Create professional development opportunities designed to support and enhance CNM core values that support student and collegial success.

3. Develop a CNM systematic, strategic, collaborative approach to support and respond to economic development in Albuquerque and our surrounding cities and counties.  The plan should include policy and process.

4. Instructional schools develop “student friendly” website format that displays a consistent approach to students searching for program information leading to enrollment.

CNM faculty and staff are encouraged to participate on these Action Project Teams
